The Rocky Mountain Way of the Smits: New House

After many long weekend drives up and down new neighborhoods, in and out of countless houses, and scouring the MLS...we have finally found our mountain home! Our new house is in Woodland Park, which is about a 30 minute drive up in the mountains to the west of Colorado Springs. It is a smaller community with a slower pace of life than urban living provides. We are situated in a nice neighborhood with larger flat lots. Who would've thought that flat lots are hard to come by in the mountains?! We have just about 2/3s of an acre with lots of mature pines and aspens. The house is just over 2300 square feet with 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, and a 3 car garage. It was built in 1999 and the interior is newly remodeled. The exterior needs to be stained and a few woodpecker holes need to be taken care of, but other than that it's move in ready!
